Matthew S. Grimsley

Matthew S. Grimsley joined The Lazzaro Law Firm, LLC in September 2021. He represents individual employees and groups of employees in wage and hour cases and collective actions, including claims brought pursuant to the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Prior to joining The Lazzaro Law Firm, LLC, Mr. Grimsley worked for Caryn Groedel & Associates Co., LPA where he represented employees and agents in various types of cases, including employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, public policy, fraud, breach of contract, wage and hour, and invasion of privacy.

Mr. Grimsley has successfully litigated numerous cases on behalf of employees and agents in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration. He has procured favorable judgments and settlements on behalf of employees across the country.

Mr. Grimsley graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio University in 2010, where he double majored in business economics and marketing. Mr. Grimsley earned his law degree from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law in 2013, where he was a published member of The Ohio State Entrepreneurial Business Law Journal.
