What is the case about?
On December 10, 2010, an action was filed against Defendant Network Connectors on behalf of the named Plaintiff Eglovan Malaj and all other similarly-situated individuals in the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.
Plaintiff was employed by Network Connectors as a technician. The action alleges that Network Connectors violated the Ohio Minimum Fair Wage Standards Act by misclassifying Plaintiff and other similarly-situated employees as independant contractors, and not paying them overtime compensation.
Plaintiff believes that he and all other similarly-situated individuals are entitled to recover from Network Connectors unpaid overtime compensation, liquidated damages, attorneys’ fees and costs.
Am I part of the class?
Plaintiff seeks to sue on behalf of himself and also on behalf of other employees with whom he is similarly situated. Plaintiff alleges that those individuals consist of current and former technicians of Network Connectors at any time within the last two years.
How do I get involved?
