Rotuna v. West Customer Management Group

What is the case about?
On July 14, 2009, an action was filed against Defendant West Customer Management Group on behalf of the named Plaintiff Joshua Rotuna and all other similarly-situated individuals in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

The action alleges that West Customer Management Group violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by failing to pay Plaintiff and other similarly-situated employees for time spent performing unpaid work before clocking in each day.

Plaintiff believes that he and all other similarly-situated individuals are entitled to recover from West Customer Management Group unpaid wages and overtime compensation, liquidated damages, attorneys’ fees and costs.

Am I part of the class?
Plaintiff seeks to sue on behalf of himself and also on behalf of other employees with whom he is similarly situated. Plaintiff alleges that those individuals consist of current and former hourly customer service representatives of West Customer Management Group, at any time within the last three years.

The law prohibits West Customer Management Group, or any of its agents or employees, to discharge, or in any manner harass, discriminate or retaliate against you for taking part in this action. If you believe that you have been retaliated against for participating in this action, contact us immediately. You may be able to assert additional claims against West Customer Management Group.

Do I have to pay anything?
